The original request goes back to the WGFM request SE(11)073 (See item 3.2 in Annex 1 to SE(11)073)
In 2013 a new request has been received (SE(13)007) to analyse the impact of SRD applications used in the band 862-863 MHz on applications in the band below 862 MHz (LTE) and on the cordless audio applications operating in 863-865 MHz.

Additional studies has been requested in 2014 (SE(14)055) to investigate in the frequency range 862-868 MHz high power non-specific SRDs for fixed installations including smart meters with up to 500 mW e.r.p. and duty cycle restrictions. This includes also the impact on LTE below 862 MHz.

Close cooperation with SRD/MG.

The Issue is separated in two different ECC reports:
Part1: impact of LTE SRDs above 863 MHz which is finalised (ECC Report 207).

Part2: For the remaining issues including intra SRD 862-870 MHz and new high power SRD applications.
