Comments National studies have shown scattering effects from wind turbines may have an effect on the available fading margin for radio services.

The study aims to provide technical results that may improve the way the effects of wind turbines are taken into account in the modelling of disturbances to radio services.

The subject is addressed through a dedicated forum group

ECC Report 260 is published (January 2017)

It is to be noted that the Netherlands Administration is developing a measurement method of ultra-low EMC emissions, which are a concern for radio astronomy. Drones are used to verify the measurement method by generating the low EMC emissions as a test. Results are expect around the end of 2017.
