The aim is to investigate innovative sharing solutions such as geolocation/database that may provide a practical and implementable solution for geographical protection either on a national or local basis throughout CEPT.

WGFM #100 in October 2021 agreed to publish ECC Report 330 on enabling WAS/RLAN in the 5725-5850 MHz band on a national basis, while ensuring the protection of RTTT/Smart Tachograph and radars (including Fast Frequency Hopping) taking into account free circulation of WAS/RLAN.

WGFM #100 therefore agreed to finalise this work item.
