On28 November 2018, WG NaN approved a revision of ECC Recommendation (15)03 of 23 April 2015 on provision of Comparable Information on Retail Internet Access Service Quality which limiited its scope to "fixed" services only. The motivation for this change was the entry in to force of Regulation (EU) 2015/2120 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 November 2015 laying down measures concerning open internet access and amending Directive 2002/22/EC on universal service and users’ rights relating to electronic communications networks and services and Regulation (EU) No 531/2012 on roaming on public mobile communications networks within the Union.

This regulation essentially placed obligations on Member States to make comparable information available. Following consideration of this regulation, PT TRIS decided that the scope of any revised recommendation should be limited to fixed services and further work was required on mobile services.

This approach was agreed by WG NaN in November 2018.

A first draft of the report is being prepared by Latvia and Lithuania and will be discussed at the next meeting of NaN4 on 17 September 2019.
