Comments

• consider the outcome of WRC-23, Resolution 676 “Prevention and mitigation of harmful interference to the radionavigation-satellite service (RNSS) in the frequency bands 1164-1215 MHz and 1559-1610 MHz”;
• consider the Joint Statement from ITU, ICAO, and IMO on 17 March 2025 to protect the RNSS from transmissions that can adversely impact on the availability and reliability of this critical radiocommunication service impacting the aviation, maritime and telecommunications sectors;
• consider ITU RR article 15 provision 1 on the transmission of false or misleading signals, article 19 provision 2 on the transmission of false or misleading identification, article 1 provision 166 on radio interference and article 1 provision 169 on harmful interference.
