Comments

As per the EC Mandate, the update of the harmonised technical and operational conditions for the usage of frequency channels of 20 MHz in the 5875-5925 MHz frequency band for safety-related applications of road intelligent transport systems (ITS), in support of both basic and advanced use cases must:

§  be complementary to and compatible with the existing regulatory framework for the harmonised use of the 5875-5925 MHz frequency band in accordance with the Commission Decision (EU) 2020/1426;

§  maintain appropriate protection of existing services within the 5875-5935 MHz frequency band and in adjacent bands.

 

The update of the harmonised technical and operational conditions shall be based on the amended ECC Decision (08)01.
