Comments

The work will start by identifying mobile applications that could be introduced and identifying the incumbent services and applications in the 470-694 MHz band.

On the basis of the above-mentioned task, relevant scenarios for the flexible use of the band will be defined and, where relevant, scenarios with an adaptation of the upper band edge may be considered. Recommendations on cross-border coordination should be developed with the aim to promote cooperation and to protect incumbent radio services and applications, taking into account existing regulatory and planning frameworks (e.g. GE-06 as well as examples of bilateral and multilateral agreements).

The work will be done in close cooperation with PT1 and FM62, including additional technical studies by WG SE if deemed necessary.
